Work

The circles of balls and nets, which have served as primary materials in my past installation works, are geometrically complete forms; yet through countless repetition, they possess a vitality that spreads endlessly. Through the process of structures and colors being added, overlapped, and emptied, the circle gradually transforms into a hole. This hole embodies proliferation and extinction, filling and emptying, all at once. As the circle accumulates and vanishes, the place left in its absence naturally becomes a hole, creating another connection. Through these holes, the two-dimensional works speak of the cycle of life leading to growth, extinction, and regeneration, while expanding the exploration of form, space, and time. At the intersection of fullness and instability, fissures and lack, as well as absence and possibility, I seek to visualize another resonance left after disappearance, along with the tension between the visible and the invisible.
